Do you want to found a fan club so that you can support Borussia in a community of like-minded people? Be aware of the following:

  • The club should have a minimum level of activity (including visits to games most importantly) as well as 8-10 members if you live within 200 kilometres. In regions further afield, you should at least make sure you have a way of travelling by car to begin with, otherwise setting up an official fan club makes little sense.
  • As an official fan club, you’re a kind of ‘business card’ for the Borussia fan scene and for the club itself.  That means that you must treat each other respectfully, avoid violence both in and around the stadium and clearly distance yourself from right- or left-wing extremism and racism at fan club events.
  • At least the point of contact (chairman, president) must be a Borussia member so that the fan club keeps up to date with the latest information.
  • If you meet these conditions, then send us an email at fans@borussia.de or get in touch by post. We’ll then send you more helpful information about founding a fan club and a questionnaire as quickly as possible. As soon as you have filled in the questionnaire with your information and sent it back, your club will become an official fan club and you will find it on Borussia’s fan club list. And obviously none of that costs a penny
