Home game against RB Leipzig behind closed doors

Borussia’s home game against RB Leipzig on Saturday evening (18:30 CET) will take place without fans in attendance. That’s due to Mönchengladbach’s local coronavirus infection rate.

The Foals will face unbeaten table-toppers RB Leipzig in an empty BORUSSIA-PARK on Saturday evening (18:30 CET). This is because the local infection rate, which states how many new infections there have been in the last seven days per 100,000 people, is currently 103.1 in Mönchengladbach. That figure must be under 35 for fans to be permitted, but it has exceeded that considerably for a duration of time now. By not allowing fans in the stadium, the club is acting in accordance with instructions from the local health and regulatory authorities.
